May 30, 2005 journal, Memorial Day honoring those who sacrificed all in our many wars.

They are being called heroes but I say they were unlucky unfortunate victims of the tyrants in office. These people are working on a job for a living as the police and are being killed. While the chief turkey is up there laying the wreath, they are killing Americans in Iraq like crazy with 4 more today dead in a plane crash.  There seems no end of this foolish war. These dead soldiers are hero's after they have died and not before, they are killing innocent little 18 years who are scared to death in battle before they are shot and killed over in Iraq. If they're not hero's before they are not hero's after, they are unfortunate victims of war.  If a person is not a saint before death they are not a saint after death and no man can make them otherwise.  Do not try and be a hero or you may wind up dead like being in Iraq. It is reported that it has been a bloody day in Iraq and there are many more dead soldiers to commemorate now and in the future.  Arlington cemetery they say is getting crowded. Matthew 24-4 "And (Yesu Christ) answered and said unto them, take heed that no man deceive you. 5-For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. 6-And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7-For nation shall rise against nat-" Continued from May 29 dealing with losing the war. "Males of military age" will be detained from these armed households as suspected insurgents.  The detentions of thousands more Iraqis will result in more torture and abuses.  Consequently, the ranks of the active insurgency will grow.  Neocon court historians of empire, such as Niall Ferguson, claim that the US cannot withdraw from Iraq because the result would be a civil war and blood-bath.  However, a bloodbath is what has been going on since the ill-fated "cake-walk" invasion. Moreover, the planned Baghdad Offensive is itself the beginning of a civil war. The 50,000 troops represent a Shiite government. These troops will be hunting Sunnis. There is no better way to start a civil war. As G.W. B has made clear many times, he is incapable of admitting a mistake. The inability to admit a mistake makes rational behavior impossible. In place of thought, the Bush administration relies on coercion and violence. Nevertheless, Congress does not have to be a doormat for a war criminal. It can put a halt to B+u+s-h's madness.  The solution is not to reduce Iraq to rubble. The US can end the bloodshed by exiting Iraq. A solution is for Iraq to organize as a republic of 3 largely autonomous states or provinces - Shiite, Sunni, and Kurd - along the lines of the original American republic. The politicians within each province will be too busy fighting one another for power to become militarily involved with those in other provinces. The problem is that Buxsh wants "victory," not a workable solution, and he is prepared to pay any price for victory. The neocons, want to spread their war against Islam to Syria and Iran. For neocons, this is a single-minded pursuit. Their commitment to war is not shaken by reality or rationality.  The Bush administration has proven beyond all doubt that it is duplicitous and has delusions that are immune to reality. America's reputation is being destroyed. We are becoming the premier war criminal nation of the 21st century. We are all complicit.
